The STS Team Leader is a newly created temporary position with the possibility of being permanent. The Team Leader is responsible for the provision of clinically appropriate and effective services to the children enrolled in the School Therapeutic Services program(s). The STS Team Leader will provide administrative oversight and support to the Behavioral Health Workers, Lead Clinicians, and any other staff or contractors involved in the provision of STS services at their assigned schools. The STS Team Leader may be required to provide billable hours/services to children in the program.
1. Provide daily administrative oversight of assigned STS school programs.
2. Ensures that clinical and administrative documentation is maintained in accordance with Federal, State, and other applicable laws and regulations
3. Ensures that referrals are processed by the STS Support Coordinator in a timely manner.
4. Ensures initial and subsequent evaluations and treatment plans are prepared in a timely manner by site clinicians
5. Monitors STS Support Coordinator process of tracking/scoring/compiling all applicable assessments (ex. CONNERS, Behavior Summaries, etc.) ensuring delivery to treating psychologist in a timely manner.
6. Develops a tracking protocol and monitoring process to ensure all authorizations of behavioral health services for children enrolled in the program are obtained in a manner that guarantees continuity of care.
7. Responsible for program growth and overall fiscal integrity of their STS program, adhering to defined metrics provided by management.
8. Responsible for defined billing and timesheet process of staff assigned to STS school sites.
9. Fosters working relationships with key school personnel and participates in the CSAP/RTI process in the school.
10. Provides consultation to program and school staff as needed. (Attending standing meetings with school liaison, facilitating trainings, etc.).
11. Represents Interact in a professional manner before consumers, families, school officials, and members of the community.
12. Responsible for creating and fostering a team oriented program environment that is beneficial to the recovery of the children and the emotional health of staff and contractors.
13. Responsible for onboarding and retaining staff.
14. Assures that staff and contractors are adhering to existing policies and procedures and provides training as needed to assist staff and contractors with compliance.
15. Facilitates outreach to families by ensuring that staff are providing them with resources, involving them in treatment planning, crisis planning and by providing clinical updates on child’s progress.
16. Monitors Continuing Support Plans being incorporated in treatment planning across assigned sites in accordance to NIAC regulations.
17. Monitors their assigned site clinicians are coordinating with all other parties involved in the child’s treatment occurs on a regular basis and in a manner that is beneficial to the treatment and of the child.
18. Must function in full compliance with all applicable policies and procedures, federal states and local laws and Interact’s Code of Conduct. Must participate in Interact’s Compliance Programs, including reporting suspected violations of the compliance program or applicable laws or regulations to supervisor or the Compliance Officer.
19. Must demonstrate competency with Electronic Medical Records and the ability to navigate and use computer software and e-mail in a competent manner.
20. Responds to all email correspondences daily and phone calls in a timely manner.
21. Must participate in Interact’s Quality Improvement activities as requested by Supervisor and/ or V.P. for Quality Assurance.
22. Must adhere to safe work practices.
23. Other duties as assigned.
1. Any licensed mental health professional including psychologist, licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT),
and licensed clinical social worker (LCSW).
Master’s degree from an accredited university in a clinical mental health discipline. The degree must contain at least 12 credit hours in core behavioral health course work. No more than 3 of these 12 credits hours can be derived from a supervised clinical mental health practicum (teaching/educational practicum does not count).
2. The STS Team Leader must have at least two years of verified experience in the field of behavioral health and at least one year of supervisory experience in the human services field.
3. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
4. Satisfactory clearances in accordance with PA Acts 33, 73, and 80.
