Position Type: Independent Contractor
PURPOSE:
Skilled, Independent Contractor provides oversight of administrative duties and compliance concerns as assigned by the Clinical Outpatient Administrator and Assistant Clinical Outpatient Administrator. Agency will provide office space and support services including supervision, administrative assistance, phone and computer, IT support, office supplies, and access to RELIAS for training and professional development.
FUNCTIONS:
1. Review and sign off on routed clinical documentation (e.g., assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries as applicable).
2. Fulfill weekly billing requirements while also supporting access to clinic by conducting intakes or carrying a small caseload.
3. Assist with clinical supervision and provide supervision towards clinical licensure hours for those Clinicians working toward licensure in the State of Pennsylvania.
4. Facilitate monthly EBP (Evidence-Based Practice) group consultation with staff if applicable.
5. Required to work one evening and cover on-call rotation.
6. Embraces DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility) and guides programming in a manner that promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility for clients and staff.
7. Agreed upon rate per hour will be paid for supervisory services, billable services and administrative tasks.
8. Invoices for billable services and administrative tasks will be submitted by the end of the business day on Mondays.
9. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A licensed mental health clinician, including psychiatrist, psychologist, professional counselor (LPC), marriage and family therapist (LMFT), or clinical social worker (LCSW).
2. A Master’s or Doctorate degree in a clinical mental health discipline, such as Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Psychiatric Nursing, and Marriage and Family Therapy. The Master’s degree must include clinical coursework in the foundations of behavioral health and the provision of mental health services and must contain at least (12) credit hours in core behavioral health coursework as defined above.
3. Training in an EBP (Evidence-Based Practice). CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) Certified Preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Required to show proof of Liability Insurance with the agreed upon minimum coverage.
2. Must have Valid Childline, PA Criminal History and FBI Clearances prior to commencing work.
3. Five years’ post-masters experience working with adults and children working in clinical settings (community mental health preferred).
4. One year of administrative and/or supervisory experience preferred.
5. Knowledge of DSM-5, clinical formulation, and best practices in trauma-informed care.
6. Must be willing to undergo credentialing for major insurances.
