Interact is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors whose members serve four-year terms. Requirements for board members are delineated in the agency by-laws, and consideration is given to a candidate’s ability to contribute to the growth and development of the corporation.

The Board of Directors’ quarterly meetings are open to the public. Much of the work of the Board is accomplished through its committees: Aging Services, Behavioral Health Services, Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Services, Executive, Board, Resource Development, and Finance. Board Members are required to participate on at least one committee.
