Until 2009, our programs for older adults operated out of the historic Langhurst Mansion on Ridge Avenue. In 2009, we refurbished a former church building at the corner of Rector and Pechin Streets in Roxborough and it became the new headquarters for Journey’s Way.
For decades, Interact has served the needs of older adults in the community through an evolving array of programs and services. Journey’s Way, Resources and Programs for People 55+, Interact’s Older Adult Services division, offers a wide array of innovative resources to help older adults enrich their lives in their communities and in their homes, while supporting them through life’s challenges.
Services Include:
- The Center at Journey’ s Way: Health & wellness, social, educational, and creative programming for active adults 55+
- Caregiver’s Corner: Resources and news to assist those caring for declining loved ones
- Senior Counseling Services: Counseling and referral services for geriatric mental health needs
- Housing Services: Housing counseling and affordable housing resources for independent seniors
