On Monday, October 8, 2018 at 10:45am join us as we host The Mobile CPR Project of Philadelphia. The Mobile CPR Project was created to increase survival from sudden cardiac arrest. To do this they travel to teach you CPR. This program is an initiative supported by the City of Philadelphia and other partners such as the three local hospitals, the fire department and the police department.
Learning CPR can keep you and your family safe. Most of the time when someone experiences a cardiac arrest, it is in their home. If your family member experiences a cardiac arrest the best thing you can do is perform CPR, it can save their life!
Some key facts about cardiac arrest:
•Cardiac arrest is when the heart stops beating, suddenly and without warning
•Over 1000 people suffer cardiac arrest each year in Philadelphia
•Over 80% of people who suffer cardiac arrest do not survive
