Adult Outpatient Supervisor

Adult Outpatient Supervisor

Starting Pay Range: $65,000
Position Type: FTE (37.5 hours/week) with some evening hours required

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Adult Outpatient Supervisor provides clinical and administrative oversight of Adult Outpatient Services. The Supervisor role ensures that all Adult Outpatient Services are delivered within a best practice framework that is in full compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.

KEY FUNCTIONS:
1. Oversee the clinical and administrative operations of Adult and Older Adult Outpatient services, including those delivered on site at Greenridge and in the community.
2. Work with other program supervisor(s) and Clinical Outpatient Administrator to ensure evening coverage onsite.
3. Provide direct clinical supervision of all program staff, including Adult Outpatient Clinicians, Older Adult Outpatient Clinicians, Certified Peer Specialists, and clinical interns. This includes signing off on hours toward clinical licensure.
4. Conduct routine performance evaluations as required by agency policy.
5. Maintain a small caseload with priority to individuals with CBH insurance.
6. Closely adhere to policies and procedures to promote quality care and fiscally sound business practices.
7. Provide feedback on strategies to best streamline intake procedures, minimize waits for treatment, promote integrated care across programs, improve quality of care, and increase our capacity to serve more individuals.
8. Review incident reports and work with Compliance Officer on any corrective steps.
9. Weekly review of staff schedules to ensure they’re filled to capacity.
10. Monitor staff compliance with attendance policy and ensure timely discharge of inactive cases and assignment of new clients.
11. Weekly monitoring of program census, waitlist, staff caseloads, scheduled clients, billable hours and quality indicators including treatment engagement, retention, and treatment efficacy.
12. Weekly review of staff documentation to ensure timely completion of progress notes and treatment plans to prevent delays with billing.
13. Audit charts including utilization review for all staff on a quarterly basis at a minimum.
14. Work to build internal mechanisms to routinely monitor performance metrics, billables, and potential compliance and fraud.
15. Monitor staffing needs across program and work proactively with Human Resources to address any hiring, credentialing, or professional development needs. This includes an emphasis on expanding accessibility of Evidence Based Practices to adults and seniors.
16. Assist with community outreach, education, and events as requested.
17. Serve as a clinical ambassador to build awareness and market program.
18. Promote integrated care by strengthening community partnerships and coordination of care between other systems that clients are involved in.
19. Maintain critical partnerships with senior centers, personal care homes, and assisted living residences where we currently provide mobile mental health therapy and peer counseling services.
20. Supports clinicians with identification and referral of Older Adults requiring expanded behavioral health programming including D&A, BCM, Psychiatry, etc.
21. Attend internal and external meetings as requested by Outpatient Services Administrator.
22. Embraces DEIA and guides programming in a manner that promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility for clients and staff.
23. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A licensed mental health clinician, including psychiatrist, psychologist, professional counselor (LPC) or clinical social worker (LCSW).
2. 3 years post-masters experience working with adults and seniors.
3. 1 year of administrative and/or supervisory experience preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must have Valid Childline, PA Criminal History and FBI Clearances prior to commencing work.
2. Knowledge of DSM-5, clinical formulation, and best practices in trauma-informed care.
3. Must be willing to receive training in EBPs as directed with preference to candidates with training in CBT or other EBPs.
4. Must be willing to undergo credentialing for major insurances.
